Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Health Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be passionate about public health, have excellent communication skills and be confident in engaging with community members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver informative cancer prevention education sessions in community settings
  • Attend community events to connect individuals with cancer prevention information and resources
  • Support program evaluation through data collection and feedback gathering
  • Provide administrative, IT and logistical support for prevention activities
Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should possess tertiary qualifications in health promotion, health science or a similar field (or near completion of degree), or equivalent community engagement experience.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who is self-motivated and proactive in ensuring messaging is right for our audiences.
