Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced specialist to manage perishable goods handling and distribution processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of export operations, cargo management systems, and freight forwarding logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage perishable goods handling and distribution processes.
  • Coordinate pickup arrangements to ensure timely completion of customer requirements.
  • Create and confirm transport orders to ensure pickup of shipments at origin.
  • Perform booking and booking optimization to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare, control, and distribute all required export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.)
  • Follow up on shipment status in the export area, identify incidents, and ensure resolution of incidents.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and identify performance issues to propose solutions for improvement or correction.
Requirements
  • CargoWise system experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of AFR/OFR Export Operations is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight operational roles is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Logistics in general is essential.
  • Dangerous Goods Accreditation is highly regarded.
