Leadership and Vision

The Group Manager plays a pivotal role in spearheading a team of IT professionals responsible for maintaining the University's critical enterprise ICT systems.

This position focuses on strategic planning and execution of On-Premise Infrastructure and Private Cloud solutions, including Monash Data Centres, Storage Platforms, Private Cloud platforms, and backup infrastructure.

  • Effective Leadership: Develop and implement strategies that align with the University's goals and operational metrics.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to drive technological innovation and excellence.
  • Technical Expertise and Innovation: Manage multiple projects, understand Private Cloud architectures, Data Centre Technologies, Storage and Backup Technology Stacks, Virtualisation architectures and principles, and Network architecture.

This role is suited for a visionary leader committed to driving technological excellence and innovation within the University's ICT framework.
