Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Officer to join our dynamic team in our Rockhampton office. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the employee life cycle, including placing advertisements, reviewing worker applications, shortlisting, conducting interviews, and the timely onboarding of support workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of support workers.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all support workers.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Work in accordance with the Aged Care and NDIS Quality Standards.
  • Identify training opportunities and develop programs to support the growth and development of our support workers.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Human Resources or previous experience in a recruitment and induction role.
  • Understanding of funding streams in respect of disability and aged care support workers.
  • Experience in the development, delivery, and review of professional development or learning and development programs.
  • Experience using a range of personal computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other web-based products.
  • Ability to conduct both online and face-to-face interviews.
  • Sound administrative skills with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience and exposure in interpreting employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • The Right to Work in Australia.
