About the Role

The role of Dedicated Caregiver involves supporting clients with their daily needs, including personal care, meal preparation, domestic services, and community access. You will work collaboratively with clients and their families to understand their unique requirements and preferences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and bowel care.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and domestic services, ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
  • Supporting clients with physical therapy and hydrotherapy, where required.
  • Accompanying clients on community outings and activities, promoting social inclusion and engagement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check.
  • A valid First Aid Certificate and CPR certification.
  • A current Working with Children's Check (Employer).
  • Related qualifications or experience in disability, aged care, or home and community care.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.

Working Conditions

This is a casual position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients and the organization. The role will involve working varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Ability to commute/relocate: Wallan and Romsey VIC - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required).
