Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide financial and administrative support to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the general ledger and Fixed Asset Register
  • Reconcile daily sales and process in the general ledger
  • Investigate non-reconciling items and variances
  • Provide assistance to the Accountants, Accounts Payable Officer, and wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks
  • Assist with regular audits and ensure all non-compliance is reported to the Accountant
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a shared services accounting function
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, or studying towards CPA or CA
  • Strong technical knowledge in the use of accounting, accounts payable software, and Microsoft Office
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Analytical style approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders at every level of the business
