Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated nursing professional to join our team at our Northaven facility in Kerang, Victoria on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care by developing individualized care plans together with the registered nurse and ensuring that the highest level of care is delivered to our clients.

  • Deliver client care within a collaborative approach based on mutual respect and clear communication between all members of the team.
  • Ensure all review processes, including annual care plan and clinical care delivery, are reviewed and audited as per the organization's schedule and nurse manager's direction.
  • Understand the organization's quality and risk management systems and utilize them effectively to record risks and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure medications are safely stored and delivered according to procedure, maintaining regulatory compliance for safe medication management and individual client well-being.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and dignity when handling client information and promote the same with other team members or contractors on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Completed diploma in nursing.
  • Experience working within the aged care sector or with elderly individuals.
  • Current driver's license (preferable but not mandatory).
