About the Role
- As a key member of our care team, you will deliver high quality client care by developing individualized care plans together with the Registered Nurse and ensure that the highest level of care is delivered to clients.
- Ensure all review processes are conducted in accordance with our established protocols and Nursing Manager's direction.
- Understand our quality and risk management systems and utilize them effectively to record risks and recommend improvements.
- Ensure medications are safely stored and administered according to procedure; maintaining regulatory compliance for safe medication management and individual Client well-being.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and dignity with all information relating to Client care and promote same with any other members of the team or contractors on site.
About You
- You have completed a Diploma in Nursing and hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people is highly desirable.
- A current Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory.
- You can meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality client care as part of a collaborative care team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure safe medication management practices.
- Protect Client confidentiality and dignity.
