Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Blast and Paint Supervisor to contribute to our operations in Port Hedland.

Role Responsibilities

As the Blast and Paint Supervisor, you will report directly to the Project Coordinator. Your main duty will be to oversee and guide a skilled team of Blast and Painters in both our workshop and site operations.

Important Note: This position is not FIFO; candidates must either reside in Port Hedland or be open to relocating. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in supervising workshop and/or site operations.
  • Capability to perform QA inspections and testing according to Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
  • Prior experience in team management and effective communication across various trades.
  • Ability to create, modify, and submit documentation such as coating reports, ITPs, and Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA).
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure quality work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Reliability in planning, reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative obligations.
  • Proven leadership in Health and Safety practices.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Experience with 2-pack paints and various application methods including brush & roller, airless, and conventional.

Certifications Required:

  • NACE Level 2 (Essential)

  • Trade Certificate
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • First Attack Fire Fighting
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • Ultra High Pressure (UHP) Ticket
