Opportunity Overview

This position offers a unique chance to become part of our Manufacturing and Fabrication Team, working within a state-of-the-art fabrication facility. Engaging in a range of intricate and high-profile projects, you will acquire practical experience while collaborating with a world-class team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize and demobilize blasting equipment and spray pumps
  • Conduct abrasive blasting, achieving a whip class SA 3 on both ferrous and nonferrous materials using garnet and steel abrasives
  • Prepare repair areas using hand and mechanical tools, including orbital sanders
  • Apply brush and roll stripe coats as necessary
  • Utilize airless spray techniques to apply up to five coats of specified systems
  • Apply various coatings, including inorganic zincs, epoxy zincs, high-build epoxies, antifouls, and acrylic polyurethanes
  • Remediate areas identified by quality inspectors to meet client specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage facilities
  • Perform additional general duties as required
Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with airless spray and blasting techniques
  • High Risk Work Licence - LF & EWP (preferred)
  • Working at Heights certification (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Trade Certificate
