Job Description

This 12-month role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects within our Australia technology area, focusing on operational aspects of large-scale transformations in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local regulations and compliance standards, as well as expertise in managing operational processes, including finance, people management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Orchestrate and oversee operational aspects of testing, test environments, and test data for large-scale projects.
  2. Maintain operational efficiency and provide timely and accurate reporting.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including ANZ teams and delivery partners, to ensure seamless coordination and management of operational activities.
  4. Implement performance management systems and metrics to track operational efficiency.
  5. Provide real-time updates and insights to support informed decision-making.
  6. Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including face-to-face meetings to resolve issues quickly.
  7. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing operational aspects of large-scale projects in the banking and finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance standards in the Australian financial sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to make real-time decisions and resolve issues promptly in complex project environments.
  • Strong organisational and people management skills, including experience with performance management systems.
  • Proficiency in using project management and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application in large-scale transformation projects.
