
EPC Project Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Procurement Specialist to join our organization in North Sydney.
The successful candidate will lead the bid phase procurement process, ensuring technically sound and cost-effective proposals. They will coordinate procurement planning, develop Make or Buy strategies, and manage the RfQ process across Energy and Resources projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Technical Procurement Programs to be integrated into Bid Study Programs;
- Focusing on design development and considering options;
- Developing internal and JV partner consensus on Bid Strategy;
- Developing common market package content aligned with project, contract, QHSE, Global Supply Chain requirements;
Additional Responsibilities:
- Developing Package Lists based on Make Buy Strategy;
- Developing Packages based on Reference Design;
- Developing/spec Market Packages based on Internal Design;
- Liaising with GSC for Vendor Technical Queries;
- Liaising with the wider team to ensure comprehensive coverage of scope of work;
During the closing phase of the Bid Study, the successful candidate will conduct technical reviews of offers received, liaise with Global Supply Chain on key priority outputs, and hand over offer recommendations to estimating.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or other professional qualifications combined with significant practical experience on EPC projects;
- Minimum 5+ years experience in the delivery of energy, resources or similar construction projects;
- Proficiency in project management tools and software;
- Capable of hands-on management of major equipment packages;
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate same;
