We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Planning Administration Officer to join our team on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Planning Services Team, attending to daily phone enquiries, arranging meetings and appointments, and preparing reports and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional administrative support to the Planning Services Team

- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner

- Organize meetings and appointments for Managers and Coordinators

- Prepare and collate reports, bulletins, and other correspondence

- Maintain an efficient and effective filing system

- Assist with providing advice to the public on current planning issues

Requirements:

- Excellent typing skills (min 70wpm)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Sound customer service and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel

- Knowledge of TRIM and Authority systems (desirable)

Desirable Qualifications:

- Cert III Business Administration or equivalent

- Current C Class Drivers Licence
