About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Management Technical Lead to join our team at Marsh Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team and a selected portfolio of Workers Compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of claims professionals to deliver high-quality people management and claims management services.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their immediate and broader claims team to produce cost-effective outcomes for the scheme.
  • Develop and implement effective claims management strategies to achieve timely settlement of claims.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of relationship management through regular and constructive communications with clients.
  • Visit clients and legal providers regularly to ensure effective claims management.
  • Provide end-to-end claims and technical management services to clients.
  • Submit claims reports as required and ensure compliance with Claims Reference Guide and Reinsurance Claims Management Agreement requirements.
  • Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage your immediate team to provide efficient and productive results.
Requirements
  • Legal background in working with workers compensation claims.
  • Extensive knowledge and insurance claims experience in Workers Compensation.
  • Experience in the interpretation of relevant acts in making liability decisions.
  • Management of complex claims.
  • Demonstrate initiative and understanding when managing confidential information.
  • Management of teams.
