Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community at St Joseph's Catholic School, Mount Isa.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position commencing as soon as practicable, which will go for the remainder of the 2024 school year and ongoing through 2025 onwards. The role may include some classroom teaching/internal relief across Prep to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs to students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Participate in professional learning and development opportunities
- Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
