- Develop and implement strategies that support sustainable development aligned with community aspirations.
- Provide informed advice to enhance integrated decision making across the organisation.
- Align work with strategic plans and budgets, delivering on long-term vision.
- Apply knowledge of political, social, legal, and organisational context to all initiatives.
- Offer high-level advice to stakeholders to enhance project design and impact.
- Build and leverage relationships to advocate for the community and represent the organisation with key stakeholders.
- Identify strategic risks and opportunities that may affect the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with deep expertise in capital works design and delivery. They will have the ability to navigate complex environments, lead with insight, and bring projects to life using relevant tools.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with advantages in business, urban planning, and management.
- Registered building practitioner and/or Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia to sign-off Council design.
- Current driver licence.
