Design Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Design Coordinator on our Tasmanian project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design process and ensuring its successful implementation.

The primary objective is to work effectively with designers allocated to the project, providing guidance and support to ensure their progress meets project requirements. Additionally, you will assist in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution, working closely with the Design Manager around project resourcing.

This pioneering project aims to deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes, and we require an individual with a strong background in design coordination, preferably with experience in tendering project delivery. A diploma or tertiary qualification in architecture, building, construction, engineering, or quantity surveying is essential, along with 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage the delivery and coordination of design.
    • Monitor and evaluate designer progress.
    • Assist in the design approval process.
  • Requirements:
    • Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
    • 3 years' experience in tendering project delivery.
    • Multi-discipline project experience desirable.
