Lead Sport Coordinator Role:

  • Develop and implement a sport strategy across the College's K-12 camp programs.
  • Coordinate annual sports carnivals, gala days, and interschool Zone and State competitions.
  • Foster partnerships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive sporting environment.
  • Maintain a development plan for K-12 sport and ensure compliance with WHS and Child Safe requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the College's vision for sport, Secondary (7-12) camps, and extra-curricular physical activity participation levels.
  2. Plan and prepare sport and Secondary (7-12) camp dates for the College calendar.
  3. Develop and maintain a development plan for K-12 sport and collaborate with the Maintenance Team to ensure facilities are ready for sporting activities.
  4. Support the promotion of sport and Secondary (7-12) camps through various communication platforms.
  5. Coordinate annual College carnivals that engage students and contribute to a positive culture.
  6. Manage communication and administration for eligible students attending trials.
  7. Promote team sport participation and coordinate staff involvement in SCC Teams.
  8. Plan and administer the camp program, including risk assessments and logistics for Secondary (7-12) Camps.
