The Customer Banking Specialist Relief is a key role in supporting customers in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area. As part of our relief team, you will work closely with surrounding branches to deliver exceptional customer service and support their overall banking needs.

  • Have in-depth conversations with customers about their banking requirements, including home loans, business banking, and financial advice.

  • Support customers with account maintenance, credit product applications, and financial health checks.

  • Provide education and demonstrate our in-branch technology and digital banking options to help customers make informed decisions.

  • Problem-solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in financial services, retail, or hospitality.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial terms clearly.

  • Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity, and place the customer at the centre of everything.
