Job Title: Financial Risk Professional
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Risk Professional to join our team. This role involves providing information, analysis, recommendations, and support for portfolio monitoring, development, and implementation activities to contribute to sustainable growth for our credit card portfolios.
In this position, you will be responsible for producing reports, analysis, and recommendations to highlight risk issues, monitoring the performance of the portfolio, identifying trends, and communicating them to the wider business in a clear and concise manner.
You will also undertake analysis to determine the impact of portfolio strategy changes on areas of application and account management, function as a key contributor to the Pay credit risk team, upholding high-quality, comprehensive, and accurate insights that are both relevant and actionable.
Furthermore, you will collaborate cross-functionally and at times work within project teams to deliver on business initiatives, ensuring the interests of the credit department are upheld.
Additionally, in the event of operational risk events assigned to credit risk, you will work cross-functionally and drive delivery of actions required to close such events.
Key Responsibilities- Produce reports, analysis, and recommendations to highlight risk issues.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A curious and business outcome-focused approach partnered with a problem-solving attitude.
- Graduate or experienced in a numerate discipline.
- Ability to code in SAS/SQL/Python/R to extract, analyze, and make recommendations for specific pieces of analytics.
- Ability to use Power BI/Tableau/MS Excel to manipulate, visualize, and interpret large volumes of data.
- Basic project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with capabilities to articulate complex analytical information.
- Proven experience to own and deliver analytical projects to tight timelines.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities can change frequently.
- Collaborative team player.
- Ability to demonstrate the company's values and behaviors.
- Experience in a credit risk function (desirable).
- Hands-on experience in credit risk analytics (desirable).
