Job Overview

Berg Engineering is a leading provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions, driven by innovation and a commitment to quality. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fabrication Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing tanks and other pressure vessels, ensuring all work meets safety standards and specifications.

  • Fabricate and assemble complex metal structures and components
  • Repair and maintain existing boiler systems to optimize performance
  • Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements
  • Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices in mechanical fabrication techniques and safety protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within the mechanical or industrial engineering field
  • Experience with pressure vessels and related components
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fabrication and welding
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industrial environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other engineers and staff
