Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Belt Splicing Specialist to join our team at Allstar Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Belt Splicing and Repair: Perform high-quality belt splicing and repair services to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Conveyor Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks on conveyor systems to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate winches and winders to install and remove belts, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Quality Control: Conduct belt audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior staff members in belt splicing and repair techniques.
Requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of all forms of belt splicing and installation, including fabric, ply, solid woven, and steel-cord belts.
  • High Integrity Splicing: Have knowledge of high-integrity splicing procedures and be able to apply them in a production environment.
  • Conveyor Product Knowledge: Have a sound understanding of conveyor products and be able to identify potential issues.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Possess basic mechanical aptitude and be able to perform tasks such as pulley lagging and applying mechanical clips.
  • Communication Skills: Have sound verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and management.
