Role DetailsA Clinical Nurse Consultant (Melanoma) position has become available at the Division of Medical Services, Mackay Base Hospital, on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver expert nursing care, clinical advice, and support to inpatients/outpatients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding high-risk and advanced melanoma.
- Work closely with Medical Oncologists and Surgeons as a key part of the treatment team.
- Provide leadership, research, education, and service planning to optimize patient outcomes.
The team includes nursing staff for the Oncology Day Unit, Medical Day Infusions, and Palliative Care/Pain Management.
The team aims to provide holistic, non-discriminatory, and quality health services for adults across the continuum to achieve optimal outcomes.
