The RoleThe Clinical Liaison Nurse Specialist provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care-specifically including discharge planning and referring to services. This position provides leadership and support to other nursing staff.
About The TeamBowen Hospital is a 27 Bed rural hospital servicing the town of Bowen and surrounding areas located 185 kms north of Mackay providing inpatient acute care and sub-acute care: general outpatient services and 24 hr Accident and Emergency service. Other services provided at the Bowen Hospital include speech therapy, physiotherapy, social work, occupational therapy, community mental health, pharmacy and radiography.
