Release Manager Role

This is a critical position in Corporate Services and Infrastructure, enhancing the execution of Agile Release trains against plans and objectives.

The ICT Release Manager will define Program Increment (PI) plans, facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach, and actively contribute to Release and environment best practice.

The role will also facilitate and foster the preparation of release and sprint vision, goals, and work pipelines, as well as coordinate the Release to Production process and its corresponding guardrails with relevant stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Enhance deployment and management phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and foster the preparation of release and sprint vision, goals, and work pipelines.
  • Lead project planning, including business requirements, forecasting, budgeting, and governance to ensure projects align with business priorities.

**Requirements:**

  • Expert knowledge and proficiency with scaled Agile tools and methodologies across value streams, portfolios, programmes, and teams.
  • Experience in technical release governance.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Service Now - Change Management tooling, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective relationships.

**Qualifications:**

  • Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
