Work as a Deployment Coordinator to drive the delivery of software releases across multiple digital platforms.

This role involves overseeing release planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage dependencies effectively.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining release schedules, coordinating stakeholder communications, and facilitating change management processes.

A key aspect of this role is collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that releases are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.

Additionally, you will contribute to project planning efforts, including schedule updates, dependency mapping, and risk management strategies.

As a Deployment Coordinator, you will work closely with testing teams to ensure adequate validation before production deployment and conduct post-release evaluations to assess success and gather feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Release Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain release schedules, project roadmaps, and timelines to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Communicate release schedules, dependencies, and impacts across various solution streams and IT teams to ensure transparency and readiness.
  • Change Management: Oversee the request for change process and facilitate Change Advisory Board approvals where necessary.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and coordinate release documentation, production verification testing, and release communications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Demand Management & Prioritization: Assist in coordinating prioritization efforts across multiple teams, aligning releases with business needs.
  • Project Planning & Risk Management: Contribute to project planning efforts, including schedule updates, dependency mapping, timeline adjustments, and risk management strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Produce relevant reports and documentation to support release tracking and reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across teams, ensuring smooth coordination between business, IT, and external vendors.
  • Governance: Coordinate and provide input for authorization bodies such as the Information Management and Technology Committee and Change Advisory Board.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing Support: Work with testing teams to ensure adequate validation before production deployment.
  • Post-Release Evaluation: Conduct reviews to assess release success and gather feedback for future improvements.

About the Role

This position requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and release management principles.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, along with relevant industry certifications, is highly desirable.
