Job Title:

Release and Implementation Manager

Description:

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of software changes into production.

This requires strong time management and prioritization skills, as you will often be working on activities covering multiple releases at varying delivery points in parallel.

You will engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand the scope of change for a given release, and work with technology and business teams to establish and execute implementation plans.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Engaging with the Enterprise Release team to register into relevant releases
  • Ensuring our IT changes follow required IT Change Management processes and manage associated governance
  • Representing in Change Approval Board (CAB) meetings
  • Planning and coordinating technical dress rehearsals
  • Preparing for and facilitating go/no-go meetings with Business and Technology stakeholders
  • Assessing dependencies within the platform and ensuring appropriate controls are in place for a successful implementation
  • Coordinating run-sheet implementation on release days

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a release and implementation manager in a large organization, with a minimum of 5 years' experience managing implementation of critical IT platforms.

You should also have practical experience implementing technology change, with a strong understanding of current processes and tools required to support system implementations in a DevOps environment.
