About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Deli Sales Associate to join our team at Woolworths Supermarkets. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of product quality and food safety, and contributing to the success of our store through teamwork and a passion for great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and food safety, adhering to Woolworths' policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and antipasto.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with the deli team to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for food and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Previous experience in a food retail or customer service role (desirable).
