Enhance Risk Management Strategies

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join its team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Market Risk Team, assisting with the implementation and management of the Risk Framework and Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional service by providing timely and accurate risk analysis and reporting.

  2. Collaborate with various departments to provide policy interpretation on Regional and local Market Risk policies and frameworks.

  3. Collect information in a timely manner to support assessing Oceania's market risk performance against MUFG policies and guidelines.

  4. Coordinate committee meetings and prepare minutes.

  5. Monitor and prepare regular reports on Oceania's performance, including credit limits, loan due date checks, borrow ratings reviews, and audits.

  6. Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.

  7. Maintain and update credit limits in front and back office systems.

  8. Produce risk exposure and profit and loss reports for Treasury, Head Office, and regulatory purposes.

  9. Identify and detect exceptions in credit and market risk usage.

  10. Maintain middle office systems.

  11. Assist in testing new risk management systems.

  12. Document and update risk management systems regularly.

  13. Carry out special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong Excel skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Previous banking experience is desirable but not required. You'll have a tertiary qualification in banking, commerce, finance, or accounting.
