About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Direct and Independents team at Foxtel Group. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and servicing relationships with Independent Media agencies and direct clients to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across FOXTEL MEDIA channels, platforms, and sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reach revenue targets each month and quarter, including personal targets, team targets, and channel targets
  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with independent media agencies and direct clients through face-to-face meetings and regular communication
  • Proactively prospect new business opportunities to uncover new independent agencies and direct clients
  • Develop timely and relevant briefs with new, creative, and sellable ideas to acquire new advertisers and retain existing ones
  • Assist in effectively managing a coordinator by monitoring performance against targets and KPIs, providing feedback for performance reviews, and planning and executing formal and informal training
  • Ensure booking schedules are accurate and oversee campaign delivery and post-analysis
  • Be proactive in sourcing opportunities to address revenue needs and adhere to sales team guidelines for the booking process
Requirements
  • Recent sales experience working within the media industry
  • Track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Experience and success in responding to media advertising briefs
  • Ability to manage workload of a team and across the sales floor to ensure delivery of high-level agency and client service
  • Demonstrate focus and clear decision-making ability under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations
  • Encourage development of others and share best practice across the floor
  • Establish a strong personal profile internally and externally at an appropriate level
  • Constantly look for and identify personal development needs and seek regular feedback
