Job Opportunity

The Emerald branch is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill the role of Service Coordinator. The key focus of this position is to provide technical guidance and leadership to field service technicians for the Greater Emerald region.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring our field service employees comply with all WHS responsibilities, and that a safety-first culture is a consistent behavior within the team. They will also mentor, guide and support the team to improve performance and efficiencies, ensure efficient utilization of equipment and resources in line with customer requirements, and provide technical guidance and support to field service team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with WHS responsibilities and maintain a safety-first culture
  • Mentor and guide the team to improve performance and efficiencies
  • Utilize equipment and resources efficiently in line with customer requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field service team members
  • Supervise time sheet accuracy and sub-contract documentation
  • Provide quotations for field service activities
  • Support existing customers through strong communication and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position with exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to navigate complex issues and achieve success
  • Strong understanding of financial best practices, including labor, overtime, accommodation and travel recovery
  • Attention to detail in documenting and follow-up
  • Safety-first leadership style
  • Strong technical understanding of earthmoving equipment or relevant trade qualifications
