We're seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator / Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Estimating Take-offs: Determine material, labor, and equipment requirements for projects.
- Contract Administration: Handle contracts from start to finish, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects, monitoring timelines and budgets.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with the design team to ensure project specifications are met and issues are resolved.
- Site Coordination: Maintain communication with site managers and subcontractors to ensure project progress.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses to ensure alignment with allocated budgets.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Reporting: Prepare regular updates for senior management and stakeholders on project progress and financial performance.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in contract administration, with a strong interest in gaining experience in project management, estimating, and design.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with estimating software (like Bluebeam or CostX) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable dealing with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
