Senior Programme Lead

Job Description:

As a senior programme lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities required to ensure Defence vessel programmes are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enabling and empowering the project team to deliver to cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Ensuring appropriate programme management methodology and tools are developed and deployed to manage the project.
  • Implementing and maintaining a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the programme.
  • Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships throughout the programme lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable programme leadership experience and 5+ years of experience working in performance-based contracting.
  • Previous demonstrable programme leadership experience with Defence / Commercial contracts.
  • Leadership experience within the Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
  • Programme leadership certification through a professional Body.
  • Demonstrable experience with Ship Management.
  • A degree or trade qualification in a recognised maritime discipline.
