The role of a Programme Manager is pivotal within our sustainment programme, accountable for delivering Defence vessel projects on schedule and in accordance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable project teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets by empowering them to achieve customer and contractual goals.
  • Develop and deploy efficient project management methodologies and tools to effectively manage the project.
  • Implement and maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the programme.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in Programme Management.
  • Over 5 years of experience working in performance-based contracting.
  • Prior experience managing Defence or Commercial contracts.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Maritime Maintenance Operations, Marine/Ship Repair.
  • Programme management experience in Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
  • Programme Management certification from a professional body.
  • Demonstrable experience with Ship Management.
  • A degree or trade qualification in a recognized maritime discipline.
