AR Team Lead

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

About the Role:

  • Allocate, receipt, and reconcile accounts with attention to detail.
  • Monitor debtor reports for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee bank reconciliation, third-party financing for customer payments, and sundry debtors.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Develop and generate routine reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and manage the AR team, providing training, coaching, or feedback as needed.
  • Conduct inductions for new team members and provide ongoing training.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior AR/Credit Officer or Team Leader.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to implement change and lead a high-performing team.
