About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Administrator to join a leading Federal government agency in a 12-month temporary assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance in developing budget cost plans and forecasts for the business case to support the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support procurement decision-making.
  • Provide analysis of vendors' budget requirements to support the program.
  • Prepare and present reports and briefs to SDP and OCIO leadership as required.
  • Ensure effective financial control of the business case to optimize procurement decision-making.
  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project reports, to track progress and support decision-making.
  • Assist in Scheme Corporate Systems procurement activities under Director and Project Manager guidance.
  • Provide administrative support to team members, project managers, and directors as needed.
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Administrator with a strong background in financial systems and procurement. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-4 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a federal government procurement team.
  • Strong budget skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in hands-on procurement activities.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
