Job Description

This role is based in Perth CBD and requires collaboration with US teams, involving early morning and evening phone calls. A hybrid working arrangement includes 2 days WFH each week and 38 hours a week with Time in Lieu offered for any out of hours work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support to business leaders and approximately 200 employees across various offices in Australia. Key duties include:

  • Working within a collaborative HR team to deliver results related to Compensation, Workforce Planning, Learning & Talent Development
  • Providing regular guidance to managers on change management, compensation, retention, engagement, talent assessments, performance development
  • Advising people leaders on all areas of HR, including consistent and transparent application of policies and practices
  • Driving, influencing, and shaping an awesome company culture
  • Partnering with operational leaders to execute business-specific strategies
  • Investigating and resolving employee issues
Requirements
  • Recognized degree qualification in Human Resources, Economics or Business (preferred)
  • 5-10 years of experience in HR
  • Interpretation of Australian employment law, WH&S, and other government legislation
  • Experience dealing with employees under an EBA
  • Influencing, communicating, consulting, and negotiating skills
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising tact and discretion
  • Intermediate-level computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Experience in the Manufacturing/Construction/Rail/Engineering/heavy equipment industry (preferred)

An estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
