We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Spotlight Retail Group (SRG). As a key member of our Distribution Centre team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and receiving processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of Dispatch or Receiving operations, including Dispatch/Receiving, Wrapping, Shipping, and Inventory Management.
- Manage customer inquiries and issues, providing excellent service and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and produce daily Stock on Hand (SOH) reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
- Lead a team of up to 10 team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to support their development and growth.
- Comply with all company policies, team member agreements (EBAs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform general administrative duties and other responsibilities as directed by Team Leaders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a Transport, Dispatch, Receiving, and/or Distribution Centre environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
- Personal and professional responsibility, with the ability to coordinate the work of others and be accountable for your own work.
- Experience in leading a team of up to 15 team members or a function.
