Job Description

Dietitians play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services, ensuring patients receive the highest quality nutritional care and support.

This Dietitian position involves providing clinical intervention, liaising with food services to provide nourishing meals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality dietetic education to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of effective nutrition plans, considering individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with food service staff to design and implement nutritious menus that cater to diverse patient requirements.

As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless patient care, maintain accurate records, and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Accredited Practising Dietitian status.
  • Proven experience working in an acute hospital setting is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
