Job Title: Nutritional Health Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nutritional Health Specialist. As a skilled healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to participants of all ages in various settings.

Your role will involve conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing personalized meal plans, and providing education and support to clients with diverse needs. You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services to participants aged 0-65 in various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and offices
  • Conduct nutritional assessments, develop meal plans, and provide education and support to clients with varying complexity and diagnosis
  • Form close bonds with clients and celebrate their achievements together
  • Access administration and IT support, online meal planning software, medication and nutrition database, online resources, Education In Nutrition (EIN), internal and external professional development opportunities, and the opportunity for clinical specialization and career progression

Requirements:

  • Membership with Dietitians Australia (Registered APD)
  • Strong passion to enable people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations
  • Some knowledge and experience in disability and/or aged care
  • A car and driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client-facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
