Johnson Controls, a global technology and multi-industrial leader, seeks a seasoned IT Business Partner to drive strategic alignment and technological innovation across Australia and New Zealand. This role is part of the APAC team and will focus on facilitating business objectives with corresponding IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align business and IT objectives through strategic planning and collaboration.
  • Contribute to IT strategy creation, ensuring alignment with Enterprise and Business Unit strategies.
  • Develop synthesized business capability and technology advancement strategies and long-term roadmaps.
  • Provide industry insights and thought leadership to guide business priorities, customer experience advancements, and technology decisions.
  • Utilize business process and IT system architectures to inform business capability and technology advancement roadmaps.
  • Manage annual IT investment portfolios, aligning with budgetary thresholds, business priorities, and IT strategies.
  • Create and process IT investment proposals, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, ROI, risks & mitigations, staffing requirements, and financial needs.
  • Serve as IT Lead for investments, ensuring successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption, and value outcomes.
  • Participate in Steering Committees, Operating Committees, and Agile Program Increment Events to guide activities and make trade-off decisions.
  • Lead functional management of Business Analysts deployed on solution delivery projects.
  • Support risk management, regulatory compliance, Information Security, and audit remediation activities.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including creation of business impact analyses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • 15+ years' proven experience in IT, with at least 5 years' business partnership experience, exposing you to senior business and IT management.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with global teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment with multiple business and IT groups.
