About the Company: Our client is a leading Australian Asset Owner that invests in various asset classes, including cash, fixed interest, equities, and private equity.

About the Role: We are seeking a Manager to lead the Performance and Analytics team, responsible for reporting, analytics, and strategy development for the total fund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring effective workload management and resource allocation.
  • Investment Performance Measurement and Analytics: Develop and implement performance measurement and analytics strategies to support investment decisions.
  • Managing Complexity: Manage complex data and analytics requirements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investment teams and external partners.
  • Data Management: Oversee data management and quality assurance, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification: Finance, economics, business, or IT-related fields.
  • Postgraduate or Professional Qualifications: CIPM and CFA Charter holders highly regarded.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in performance and analytics across various investment sectors.
  • Expertise: Expert understanding of performance calculation methodologies, derivatives, and overlays, as well as impact of unlisted investments on total fund returns.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with investment market environment and institutional funds management.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player, with tasks and issues assigned followed through to completion.
