About North East Link
The North East Link Project is a major road project in Victoria, Australia, that aims to improve connectivity and reduce congestion in the north-east region. As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Asset Manager to join our team and manage the constructed assets of the North East Link Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an asset management plan, ensuring that all constructed assets are properly documented and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an asset management plan for the North East Link Project, including the identification, tracking, and management of constructed assets.
- Ensure that all constructed assets are properly documented, including their location, condition, and any maintenance or repair activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that constructed assets are managed in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with various asset owners to ensure that constructed assets are properly prepared for handover at the conclusion of construction.
- Develop and maintain asset-specific documentation, including asset registers, asset schedules, and asset maintenance plans.
- Monitor and report on the condition of constructed assets, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future maintenance or repair activities.
- Provide training and support to project team members on asset management processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in asset management on civil infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, processes, and procedures.
- Experience in managing and documenting constructed assets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience with asset management software such as Maximo or similar.
