Occupational Therapy Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals recover from work-related or non-work-related injuries.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting graduate to join our two-year graduate program and become a part of our supportive team of rehabilitation consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs, conducting assessments, and helping clients identify future employment or training options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers with work-related or non-work-related injuries or illnesses
  • Conducting assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics, and activities of daily living
  • Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress toward return-to-work goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for AHPRA accreditation upon graduation. You should also have graduated within the last 12 months or be graduating in 2025.
