Job Summary

This role requires a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments. As a Grade 2 Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations in a safe environment.


About the Role

You will work under the direction of senior Nuclear Medicine Technologists to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses through effective examination techniques.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical skills in the full range of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations
  • Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science / Medical Radiations in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Current Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Radiation use license issued by the Department of Health
  • Ability to perform diagnostic CT within the hybrid imaging environment
