Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for providing quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations in a safe environment. You will work under the direction of senior Nuclear Medicine Technologists and be expected to perform a range of tasks including preparing and handling radiopharmaceuticals, conducting technical and clinical procedures, and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Applied Science / Medical Radiations in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Current Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Radiation use licence issued by the Department of Health
  • Ability to perform diagnostic CT within the hybrid imaging environment
  • Experience sufficient to permit eligibility for accreditation by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM)
  • Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain
