We seek a skilled and results-driven Supply Chain Strategist to drive procurement success.

This role entails providing expert advice and guidance across business functions, focusing on materials procurement for gas assets and projects.

The successful candidate will develop and execute short- and long-term procurement strategies, building strong relationships with suppliers, engaging with the market, managing risks, and planning ahead to ensure organisational goals are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver meaningful value and positive outcomes through effective collaboration and communication.
  • Apply strong commercial acumen, balancing big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Engage stakeholders, coordinate tenders, and support smooth contract delivery.
  • Foster trust and build positive relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Owning multiple procurement categories, encouraging innovation, and guiding change in a supportive manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Commercial or Supply Chain management (desired).
  • Membership of a procurement body (desired).
  • Technical or industry-related experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of contract management methodologies and legislative requirements.
