Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless supply chain operations by optimizing inventory, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, inventory management, and process optimization. You will work closely with internal teams to align data insights with real-world operational needs, ensuring minimal waste and maximum freshness.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in a related field.
  • Analytical skills with experience in data analysis, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain risk management and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis & Process Optimization
    • Gather, analyse, and interpret large datasets related to procurement, production schedules, and distribution to uncover inefficiencies in the supply chain.
    • Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve workflow efficiencies.
    • Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to model scenarios, forecast demand, and optimize inventory replenishment cycles.
  2. Inventory Management & Reporting
    • Conduct comprehensive inventory audits to monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
    • Generate detailed reports on stock movements, shelf-life tracking, and supplier lead times to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  3. Process Improvement & Innovation
    • Evaluate current supply chain workflows and propose strategic revisions to enhance efficiency.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives to redesign processes and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices.
  4. Risk Assessment & Mitigation
    • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
    • Create contingency plans for critical scenarios to ensure uninterrupted production.
