As an Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering employment services programs across the country.

About the Role:

  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers.
  • Help job seekers identify their skills, abilities, and secure employment.
  • Deliver ongoing outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers.
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services.
  • Create and implement a joint job plan with the job seeker to support a clear pathway to employment.
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Job seekers require support to transition into employment. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying and engaging with job seekers who are eligible for our employment services.
  2. Conducting needs assessments to understand job seekers' skills, abilities, and career goals.
  3. Developing personalized employment plans that align with job seekers' aspirations.
  4. Providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to ensure job seekers achieve their employment goals.
  5. Building and maintaining relationships with local employers to access employment opportunities for job seekers.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Willingness to complete a criminal history check.
  • Ability to pass a working with children check.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
