Salary:$140,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role:

We're seeking a Digital Product Strategist for Technical Excellence to lead the strategic development and execution of our technical products. As a key member of our IT team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver impactful solutions aligned with Virgin Australia's compliance standards.

In this role, you'll shape secure, compliant products that support the evolving needs of the business and help make IT the most loved technical function in aviation. You'll be part of a new team driving business-wide initiatives, helping development, SRE, and infrastructure teams reach their full potential, while ensuring business stakeholder feedback is integrated and security is efficiently prioritized.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate complex technical data and compliance standards into actionable tasks that drive product development.
  • Proven experience in building, managing, and executing product roadmaps to align with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and collaboration, working within complex business and technical environments.
  • Strong understanding of technical product management with an emphasis on compliance standards (ISO, NIST, PCI) and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product and technical challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with IT product life cycles and product-centric mindsets.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures to ensure efficient product delivery and service management.
